About the Region
Known as the "Valley of Glaciers", Langtang is the closest Himalayan trekking region to Kathmandu. It features rich Tamang and Tibetan cultures, ancient Kyanjin Gompa monastery, yak cheese factories, rhododendron forests, and panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m).
